Want to have some real family time? Camp. In a tent. We are all together in a field and the day could not be simpler. We eat, wash dishes, hike, dig, bathe in our solar shower, knit, talk, and play. The worries are small, the day unfolds, and at night we talk about our discoveries until we dream. Morning brings wet shoes, fresh dew smells, wool blankets pulled up to our shoulders, and laughs about not knowing what day it is or having a plan for the day. Camping. In a tent. It always makes me appreciate more things: space, water, air, family, time, smiles.
